Comfort Suites Hagerstown Southeast

Had an easy in around 9:00pm. Got to our room and noticed a white powdery substance on the nightstand between the two beds. Wiped it up with the less than white wash cloth from the bathroom. No big deal. However, when my daughter started to pull the blanket down and found more white powder we called the front desk. No other rooms were available and no one could come and check the bed or change the bedding until after 11 when someone else came on duty - but we were welcome to change the bedding ourselves if we want. NOPE! my daughter pulled the blanket up over the powder and used her own blankets and pillows over the bedspread. House keepers changed the bedding while we were out the next morning. Found more white powder on the nightstand when we returned (but less than when we’d checked in). Also found two McDonald’s cokes in the fridge (not ours). One light in the bathroom was bright and one barely lit. Out of order sign on soda machine and pool closed until further notice. All of the staff was very amenable but seemed to have their hands tied as to what they could do to help. Wasn’t very happy with the knock on the door at 10:45 this morning asking if we needed to extend our stay (checkout wasn’t until 11).

Relatively easy to get in and out of. Decent selection of stuff in the convenience section.

Upon finding out we had a pet, this hotel relegated us to a room in the basement of the hotel, whose hallway was hot, damp, windowless, and creepy. There was an odd smell of food being cooked in the basement hallway as well. As we attempted to put some of our drinks in the refrigerator, we discovered a half-eaten salad that was left in the refrigerator. The mattress pad was full of holes, and the room was generally not very clean. The room also had very few outlets, making finding a place to set up phone chargers a challenge. Breakfast consisted of continental items with a crock pot of sausage gravy with the lid halfway in the gravy.

Breakfast was ok, however you all need to have a non stick spray for the waffle maker. They stick to the grid and it makes mess when trying to dislodge the waffle Also the receptical for the gravy spoon is disgusting having to use it after the previous user puts it back in the resting position.

See above comments, also the king mattress is old and needs to be replaced, it still has the metal reinforced sides and probably springs Not supportive at all due to the overwhelming usage the bed has endured,,,, Also the pool has water in it and consumers are not allowed to use, it was the same circumstance when I stayed there 2 years ago !?? Also ice machine on second floor is out of order as it was 2 years , and soda machine is out of order. Your management company needs to over haul this unit or find someone new who will address this situations. Moreover, I won't be staying there again when I come to Hagerstown, I'll be at the Fairfield down the street.

Clean room, bathroom could use more TLC

Out toilet felt like we was going to fall off it. The toilet seat was so loose

Just got the room for one night and literally only slept there but everything was great except for the comfort of the bed.

They gave me room that someone was already in
