Excellent hotel. Our group of friends has met here for four years and it has been wonderful. It fits our needs as a large group perfectly. Will definitely stay again.

Upon checkout, we were slapped with a movie charge that was completely unintentional, as my little girl accidentally clicked on a kids' movie that started playing on the TV without any adult authorization. We were charged almost $30 for an unfinished movie (so easy for a child to select and play) without any confirmation of charges or adult consent, and the TV system makes it far too easy for children to make unintended selections. Imagine a child clicking multiple movies and the surprise charges that could follow at checkout. The staff refused to reverse the charge, citing third-party rules and the 10-minute playback policy, even though the movie was only partially played. This setup can easily lead to unexpected and unnecessary expenses for future guests, and the hotel should take more responsibility by improving the system and protecting guests from accidental charges. Otherwise, the hotel itself was good, but future guests should be aware of this issue. Moreover, movie charges are unreasonably high - it feels more like a bait, and the in-room entertainment system definitely needs improvement.

good experience at the Hyatt. Bed was comfortable and shower was good. Room was kept clean. Room temperature was adjustable and that was perfect. My experience was good.

When I left my Mac Book, the hotel housekeeping took no effort in contacting me. It wasn't until I told them I could see it still at the hotel, that they confirmed they had it. I was also notified 3 times that someone was trying to log into my Mac. If housekeeping had of notified the front desk as soon as they found it, they could have contacted us, before we left the city. Instead, the next day I had to had back into Winnipeg 550km total and waste $75.00 in fuel. The front desk has all the information require to contact someone when an item is found. So I'm not sure why they made no effort at all in letting me know.

Close to shopping. Good amenities. Good sized pool. Work-out room sufficient. Hotel not as new as new was advertised. Expensive for what you get.

Location is ideal

It is pricey but you definitely get what you pay for

We booked 2 suites in advance for a family occasion for 2 nights over a weekend. On check-in, no one told us there would be incessant banging and construction going on outside. We arrived on a Friday afternoon but we couldn't know that the banging would start up again promptly on Saturday at 7am! At reservations, they insisted that construction was outside of their control - but of course, we should have been told about it in advance. We would have requested rooms on the other side of the hotel. We had to switch rooms, which thankfully did allow us to get some sleep on Sunday. Also, the fridge in the room was buzzing really loud. We did like how clean the hotel is.
