Western Inn and Suites

Everything in the hotel room seemed to be on a timer. Five minutes on the hair dryer 😞 I went to the local Walmart and bought a new hair dryer and body wash plus shampoo and conditioner. I also got a box of two donuts . The lobby area was dark it was after 7 am I asked the clerk about breakfast and he said something I thought at first he said 8 I didn't understand so I said oh ok I guess I will be going to eat. He said he just forgot to turn on the lights he said breakfast is from 6-9 No yogurt or juice, no bread or toaster, no eggs or any kind of meat, I made a waffle the butter was frozen I ate half of one. In reality I would have been better off to go somewhere else and eat .

Love this place

The room wasn’t fully cleaned there was an alcohol bottle under the bed and a pair of socks next to the bed. The tv didn’t work, stains on the furniture and bedding and chair.

The worst part of the room was there is a definite cockroach problem.

Older facility that needs updating. Several wall electrical outlets did not work as they were connected to a wall light switch and when you turned the light off you also turned power off to the outlets. Also the below window ac/heater had a short in the system and continually its circuit breaker.

We had a good experience here until the week of March 1st the manager took it upon himself to go into our room when we were gone and even though we have a certification for our service dog said he wasn’t a service dog because we don’t take him with us everywhere we go, but we left him with the person he was certified for. As for the other staff Brandon is amazing he was very nice!
