Mercure London Heathrow Hotel

Worst hotel stay i have ever experienced. Hotel staff rude and even tried entering our room 10 minutes after we had gone in it. Rooms were not ready for us and after being promised it will be sorted we came back 3 hours later and the rooms were still not correct.

Waited more than 30 minutes to check in because the gentleman in front had booked a family room and was allocated a standard room, so his kids had to sleep on the floor (and he wasn’t very happy, and the hotel staff had no idea what to do). Rooms are small (can’t stand up in the bathroom) - and the beds are unbelievably uncomfortable. Only stay here if you really have no other options.

My room card didn’t work on the 2nd day but that was fixed by the staff. The hotel lift there had is hand sanitizer but it is empty. My stay was only for work so I didn’t need luxury but overall it was okay. The lift screen is broken and just shows you’re on level 0. There are only 2 floors so it doesn’t really matter but the hotel should fix the screen. When I finished having shower, the drain was blocked so I had to call the staff to fix this. The fridge in my room wasn’t working. I didn’t need this.

Bit disappointed that there was no water in the room, no vending machine and unable to purchase anything on arrival at 23.15 due to staying after a flight.

Horrible hotel. Poor cleanliness.

Convenient and reasonably priced but you don’t get the service. Waited about 20 minutes to check in so I missed the last call at the bar, then the receptionist started dealing with another customer so waited a further 10 minutes (even though he literally had my card key ready). Although bar staff was there still, i wasn’t able to purchase a bottle of water.

It needs refurbishing, the hallway smelled when I walked down it. The room was ok but stain on carpet and everything just looks totally different from the photos on website. Extremely misleading- owners need to do a refurb.

Friendly front desk personnel. Clean facilities and very convenient dining experience.
