Comfort Inn Orillia

Location was good. Being put on the second floor with no elevator and carrying a lot of things was a inconvenience.

Told us there was no elevator. Also have 2 people to book people in. There was only 1 person to register people.

Room was clean and good. Forgot to mention toilet flushing had to be held down completely to flush. Breakfast was good.

The stairway piece was off the back step. Hotel is run down and in need of repairs.

We came in to our room and immediately discovered that our blanket and sheets on our bed were absolutely covered with small, curly black hairs. It was revolting. The bed was made but it was as if they hadn't cleaned anything. I complained at the front desk and was after waiting for a while, was handed a stack of sheets and a blanket. So I had to go and take the gross stuff off the bed and remake it myself. Half of our floor was then covered with the dirty laundry. When I complained about this situation the next morning, the hostess brushed me off with a, "Sorry about that, have a nice day!" It was extremely gross and disappointing. I would have at least expected a credit or refund after such a ridiculous stay, but nothing was offered. To add to all the discomfort, our room had reeked of cigarettes as well. The continental breakfast was also a joke.

Great breakfast. Central for shopping but a bit far for the Casino
