Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Diamondhead

I booked this room for my parents to stay in while we were visiting Diamondhead. They said they were very pleased with the room, hotel, and staff. They said they would stay there again. Note: The breakfast is a quick fill up with yogurt, cereal, and other easy to grab foods.

The room was clean, though showing signs of age and the bed was comfortable which is most important. You could tell they were making an effort to keep the building clean.

The breakfast was terrible. In a place like Diamondhead where there is nowhere else close to eat, a little more effort on the breakfast would bring me back.

no elevator, stood at desk to be checked in for about 20minutes before acknowledged, duct around light fixture falling from bathroom ceiling, tv was not connected properly and had to have attendant come assist as remote would not allow us to fix. i have stayed at much nicer places and spent a whole lot less than the $140 for one night there!

amazing property! staff is very tentative and accommodating of any and all needs. a very wide variety of different things for breakfast as well.

Well, we reserved a King Suite & received a double queen instead. There was mold on the lampshades, the door had pretty big gaps around it meaning lots of light & noise from the hallway, & there were open piles of garbage sitting at the door for at least 2 days. This is the door that they deemed usable for the dogs at that, so not very pet friendly. We put a towel under the door to try to keep light & sound out, but it only helped a little. Ringing the bell at the front desk only worked about 1/3rd of the time. The place needs some serious renovations. We will not be back.

Stopped by here for a quick overnight heading into New Orleans with my husband and teenage son. The hotel is older but the rooms very clean and the beds were comfortable. The continental breakfast was very basic. We didn’t use the pool but it looked nice and was being cleaned when we arrived. This was great value for a quick stop. We would definitely stop here again.
