Comfort Suites Kansas City-Liberty

Location was great with several shopping options close by. The room was nice (modern), spacious and clean and the area felt safe.

The area by the elevator is quite shabby looking. Breakfast is basic cereal, etc. which I did not utilize due to diet restrictions. Some healthful options (just a few) would be nice such as quality breakfast/protein bars. The kind you see at Whole Foods.

No staff at front desk for check in, once they acknowledged us, they were polite

Pet friendly Clean

am a travel agent who brought a group to this Comfort Suites in Liberty, MO from July 11–13 — and it was by far the WORST hotel experience I’ve ever encountered. My room (213) had an ant infestation under the mattress pad. Not just a few—they were crawling across the bed, under the sheets and mattress pad. My toddler was about to get under the covers when I caught it. We lifted the sheets and saw ants, stains, and signs of filth. It was traumatic. Other rooms in our group had dead bugs and bug shells inside pull-out couches, stained mattresses, and what appeared to be mold on the bedding. Clearly, these rooms were NOT properly cleaned as we reported an issue of filthy sheets immediately upon check in! When we reported the issue, front desk offered a room change, but after seeing other guests’ rooms, we no longer felt safe or comfortable staying. The supervisor refused to return my calls, and staff were dismissive. What’s worse — when I escalated the issue, corporate offered 2,000 points (about $16) as a solution. Sixteen dollars… for an ant-infested room that put my child’s safety at risk and forced us to scramble for new lodging at the last minute. I have photos and videos documenting everything, and I’ll continue escalating this through formal and legal channels. No one should have to go through this, especially not a family with small children. Avoid this hotel at all costs. Comfort Inn should be ashamed.
