"Won’t be back"

Nothing except the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked.

Was not told at time of booking that this hotel was under renovation. Very limited facilities available due to the construction.

"We will not be staying at the Tong Hotel in the future we will find alternative accommodation."

It was ideal for the location we required

The room was shabby needed a good decorating. Regards the size of the room it was a good size. We found the bed comfortable. Thick Ivy growing on the outside of the window could not see out or even open the window. Bathroom needed an upgrade. Plug in the sink broken. Replacement one didn’t fit. Crack across the sink. Bottom of the enamel bath had a big chip. Shower curtain kept falling down really unacceptable. There was tea/coffee facilities however no milk. Cannot comment on the food as we didn’t eat at the hotel.

"Fawlty Towers with air con"

Location was great, staff were brilliant, particularly Ali. Air conditioning in the room.

No towel in my room on arrival, no handwashing whatsoever in the bathroom, bed adequate but not that comfortable. Room key failed but day staff didn’t seem to have any idea what to do, Ali resolved in about 30 seconds in the evening.

Friendly receptionist

Blood in toilet and some items in room so not been cleaned properly. No plug for bath. No door key as said the systems were down so couldn't go in and out no card key could be provided at all.
