Nice, clean property in a convenient location to meet family and friends

Location and comfortable bed and breakfast was great.

Don't order their breakfast. They heat the bread and croissant in the microwave. The bread is very very hard, and the croissant is very soft. The room is not very clean, and the toilet seat and glasses are not fully clean. The garden is beautiful. The front desk are very helpful.

We stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott in Windsor for a softball tournament (Fast Pitch Nation Park, they have impressive grounds & fields). Reservation incident - Originally, we had 6 in our group going, so we booked two rooms (1 King and 1 Double-Queen rooms) . Our plans changed a couple of weeks prior, so we cancelled the King room. When we arrived, we found out that the wrong room was cancelled leaving us with a king bed for 4 people. No other double-queen rooms were available. We ended up getting a second king room at a discounted rate. No huge deal, but we ended up paying about $400 (total $200 per night) more than we anticipated. The manager was nice, but there wasn't much she could do as there were a bunch of softball families in town for the tournament. Smelly room - We got to our room and it reeked, like cat urine. We opened the sliding door and left the front room door open for a while to try to get some cross ventilation. I walked to the front desk to see if there was anything we could do, but there was a line of softball families checking in. So I went to Stop & Shop for some air fresheners, it helped a little. The next day we mentioned it on the field and a few families had the same problem. I'm not sure if the excessive amount of rain in CT for the past 8 or so weeks may have played a part in the smell? Regardless, they need to do something about it. Find the cause and address it. Starbucks & Drafts - On the positive side , The lobby was nice, clean and had plenty of room (seats & tables). The cold brew was great. The breakfast looked really good (but expensive - we went to Dunkin Donuts instead). At night they had an impressive variety of draft beers (like 6 or 8) available for a small place. They had wine and bottled beers as well. Summary - Confirm your reservations before arriving. Have some air fresheners with you. The staff was nice despite the issues.

Stay was very pleasant and comfortable. The add can make it seem as though this Hotel is IN or very near the Airport, but its a few short miles away. Older but very clean. The Staff are great. We enjoyed our short stay!

I was in and out. I had a great experience with the staff. They recommended the wings and they were good! We were snowed in which is not normal to me but they made everything comfortable for me.
