Days Inn by Wyndham Gainesville University

The property is old but has potential but half of it closed up abandoned. The rooms are old and dirty even if you try to keep them clean the building needs a renovation in the worst way the walls the floors the bathrooms all of it. The pool is closed which would bring some value to the property. It needs some love corporate ought to help restore it because it has potential but until then stay some where else an extra ten bucks or so is worth a cleaner hotel

Pool down, mini fridge ruined our food, rude service, key stoped working almost immediately. All channels were in Spanish other than cartoons.

The king size bed in our room was too tall. We had problems getting onto the bed. Otherwise, there were no problems. Strong smell of mildew in the front lobby and in our room. Shower was very nice with roll-in convenience for disabled people like me. Male staff member assisted my friend who had fallen in the courtyard and helped get her and her belongings to the room. He was very nice and cordial. We did not get his name. I did see him emptying garbage in the friont lobby the next morning as i was checking out.

Hotel is in need of some updating like more secure doors(noticeable gaps between bottom of door and floor), repair/update ceilings. Decent stay for the time we were there.

Property is old and dirty. I was killing cockroaches upon walking in, some of the rooms have residents living there, the room itself is not well maintained the bathroom was old and tiny did not fit a 6 ft 3 person in the shower . The bed linens had stains on them weren't washed and the towels had hair strands embedded in it. Not to mention the floor was not swept or vacuumed because my feet were filthy after having washed them in the shower I took . I do not recommend for a stay especially with family. My husband got solicited outside in the parking area by homeless looking for alcohol and cigarettes and a prostitute looking for a customer. What a terrible experience stay away. I booked this place thinking it was a good stay close to campus for graduation weekend and boy what an awful stressful experience. It was so bad I had two other guests staying in a separate room and made other arrangements at 700.00 to ensure they were safe and comfortable somewhere else on grad wéekend. Stay away.

Just out dated with makeup

Great place. A bit out of date. The tube wasn't in good condition but besides that, everything was okay.

Johanna from the minute we walked in was knowledgeable of the history of the motel. The room was clean the beds were comfy, this will be my forever stay when in Gainesville. Johanna represents this motel beautiful, it is because of her we will return! Also side note sitting at the pool last evening just enjoying the view and weather was a wonderful treat.

Bad

When you advertise a pool, have a pool. Wasn't staying here for any other reason.
