Days Inn by Wyndham Encinitas Moonlight Beach

Beds were fine, location is great, could have been a bit cleaner( gum on headboard for example). No plunger available at desk for my daughters room so had to use our room toilet. No electricity in our bathroom but did fix it second day. Daughters room TV did not work.

The grab & go breakfast was an apple & an oj. Yes there was coffee but I don't drink coffee. But that was the lamest breakfast or lack thereof I have ever seen! The room definitely needs a lot of help. The headboards are worn, the shower...I can't even explain it! The bottom was painted & there was a rubber strip & it was a mess. For $100 I expected a lot more! Should be a $40 motel. The screen was pretty much ripped off & there was a large tear in it.

Disappointed in comfort for bed ,mattress was too hard. And the on the go breakfast consisted of a granola bar, with a very small carton sized juice. They did have tea and coffee as well. Muffins or cereal would have been nice. When we got to our room the tub had a drip that was constantly running and we told desk about it when we got there and they said they would send maintenance and never did. We were at hotel from Sunday until Thursday and not once did they stock tp or towels we had to go to office to request it. We had two small garbage cans in our room and they were full so we emptied them. If we are staying overnight in a room and paying for it, it would be nice to be comfortable .

Start off the room was musky smell, the carpet was discussing the dirty. I normally wear socks and when I go out motels hotels, my socks were disgustingly dirty after five minutes of walking around the room, the drywall was peeling it back in the restroom, I took one shower and was taking a bath at the same time, drain doesn’t drain very well. You couldn’t even call the front desk cause there was no phone in the room.

The bed sheets were dirty spots the shower curtain was dirty. The carpet had black stains. No closet.

The bed looked very clean. But the room had a horrible smell. Front staff didn’t even attempt to explain how to find my room. I had to walk around in the dark, searching for the room number, since the small numbers weren’t lit. It turned out my room was located at the back end of the property—something they easily could’ve told me. The “breakfast “ was a bar of crunchy. Rather disappointing stay.

Well, I thought for the price that I paid, which was not a lot, but I still expected a clean room. I walked around the room in my socks on carpet for about 1015 minutes. The bottom of my socks were disgustingly black needless to say I put flip-flops on for the rest of the stay. I went ahead and not knowing and paid for both nights and once I was in the room and noticed the not so clean room, I took a shower and the water drained. I felt like I was taking a shower and a bath at the same time. Actually, when I first walked in, there was not on which I understand but the room was smell so musty mildewy. I didn’t see mold, but it sure smelt. I will not ever stay at this brand of a motel hotel again. I understand the no cancellation policy I get that but if you expect me to spend the second night in that same room, It was just disgusting dirty carpet. I guess I’ll just have to lose the money, but I will not ever stay in a place that called “days inn”

Bathroom door did not close property. Shower needs repair rusty shower head needs caulking. Bed sheets had stains and the carpet was filthy. And there is no closet, no tissue paper.

Front reception staff I dealt with was the worst I have ever experienced
