The location was nice . The breakfast was good.

There wasnt much of a lounge.very basic. The bathroom smelt musty. The beds were not particularly comfy. The shower was hard to get the right temperature.

Breakfast was good, but not excellent; efficiency in planning two sittings seems to take priority over freshness of cooking; when the food arrived it had clearly been kept warm for a while. Not a great choice for vegetarians, just the horrid synthetic sausage….. You have to choose from the breakfast menu the previous day and post your selection into a box in the entrance hall. We liked the provision of fresh milk to take to our room, where there was a small fridge.

Not dislike exactly, but we were a bit surprised that there is no reception desk, guests are given a code to get their room key from a keysafe outside the door; this is more like an airb’n’b than a guest house. The system did work well however. We ever saw the owners other than at breakfast.

The breakfast was good and the system of orderingcwas efficient.

Everything was fine except I couldnt get BBC1 on the television!! I was on the top floor and am old but i found the stairs quite steep. However I managed .

Friendly staff, helpful, clean comfy accommodation. The food was excellent particularly good for allergies.

Location was not walkable to Keswick which we were aware off. The parking was available but tight.

Easy to find and park, clean very welcoming, like the lounge with complimentary cake!!😁
