Fern Howe Guest House is a strictly nonsmoking and vaping property, to include all internal and external areas. Anyone found to have been smoking within their rooms will be charged a minimum £150 cleaning charge per room affected, and may be asked to leave. Please advise at time of booking of any dietary requirements. Breakfast is served via two seating times of 7.45am and 8.15am Fern Howe Guest House operates on a self check-in basis. As depicted in the photos, the Single Mountain (Fell) View Room; the Family Mountain (Fell) and Garden View Suite; and the Twin Mountain (Fell) and Garden View Room all have some areas with reduced ceiling height, due to their location on the top floor of the building.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties. A deposit may be required at the property.

Very clean Spotless Cleanest B&B I've been Very professional Cake in the afternoon Cooked breakfast Location in a lovely village Very good shower Very good bed Again, very clean Parking is good, not narrow at all

Couldn't ask for anything else If I could improve something, it would be to have one more option for breakfast, cooked breakfast is great, everyone loves it, there are other options like cereal and yoghurt, but porridge would be a good idea to add.

"Perfect place for escape"

Emma was exceptional. Service was so personal and attentive and just very, very sweet. Breakfast was great and high quality products. Perfect throughout.

Beds were a bit too soft for my old back, haha, but all is good, syill would come back without hesitation.

The small hill this guest house is located at makes it special every-time we are in or out of it. Was exceptionally clean. Plenty of refreshments in the room. The afternoon cakes were so nice and special and the taste did not disappoint everytime . The breakfast was of good quality. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and helpful .

I cannot complain but was a hot few days so was a bit hot but cooled down in the night with the window open.
