Fern Howe Guest House is a strictly nonsmoking and vaping property, to include all internal and external areas. Anyone found to have been smoking within their rooms will be charged a minimum £150 cleaning charge per room affected, and may be asked to leave. Please advise at time of booking of any dietary requirements. Breakfast is served via two seating times of 7.45am and 8.15am Fern Howe Guest House operates on a self check-in basis. As depicted in the photos, the Single Mountain (Fell) View Room; the Family Mountain (Fell) and Garden View Suite; and the Twin Mountain (Fell) and Garden View Room all have some areas with reduced ceiling height, due to their location on the top floor of the building.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties. A deposit may be required at the property.

Immaculately clean, comfortable and tastefully furnished rooms. Complimentary cake on arrival! Breakfast menu organised in a way which helps reduce waste. Fabulous views from the breakfast room. Walking distance from a nice, dog friendly pub. OS map of Lake District wallpaper near the drying room.

Breakfast was fantastic! The rooms were comfortable and convenient. Location was perfect: quiet but close to all we wanted to see in the area.

"Perfect little hideaway"

A beautiful guest house.The owner has thought of everything .We had been up wainwrights most of the day,this was just what we needed coming back.Stocked up tea/coffee/biscuits fresh fluffy towels in the immaculate room the most amazing selection of cake(home made) in a l quaint living room (I thought I’d died and gone to heaven .The pain of the hike was all worth it.Very tasty breakfast too.A beautiful hideaway but don’t tell too many people🤫.

La struttura molto caratteristica,pulita,ordinata e silenziosa. Colazione tipicamente inglese ma anche possibilità di avere toast,cereali, frutta, succo di frutta.Gentile il personale.
