Travelodge by Wyndham Escanaba

The beds were awful and broken, where you sink to the middle. Excessively soft. The AC is parallel with the bed so blowing into the bed. The front desk gentleman had such a thick accent, we could barely get checked in.

Won’t get room nearest door, where people stand outside and smoke after dark. Not cool for me. Too much hassle to ask for a room change.

Check in was very pleasant and helpful.

Charged the card you reserved with automatically. 1st time that’s ever happened to me when I choose “pay at hotel” Hotel itself was fine, room was clean, little outdated. Breakfast area was tiny, like 1 person can get food at a time tiny, selection was minimal. Probably would find a different place to stay next time.

Location was convenient for our travel. Continental breakfast as provided was okay. Able to change rooms as one offered wasn't suitable.

Room provided was in a noisy location.

The room was somewhat updated but still quite dated. The sheets on my bed were stained, the sheets were fine on the other bed. The couch in the room was stained as well. The evening and day staff were both very friendly and helpful. Breakfast options were limited but decent for the price of the room. I would not choose to stay here again.

It was ok, not terrible, but not great.

Not worth the price we paid. Definitely a 1 star. The breakfast looked terrible. The bedding was old. The place had an odor.

After our last Wyndham stay we asked to see the room before we did the check in and the host gladly showed us the room....which was very clean.
