Travelodge by Wyndham Escanaba

We found the A/C did not cool the room and was unclean. Also the bed mattresses were in poor shape and felt as if an elephant had slept in them first and made them saggy. The room was also very dark. I won't be staying there anymore in the future.

Filter in coffee maker in room was never removed from previous guest. Makes me question if it was ever cleaned. Furniture in room was old and very outdated. When sitting down in lobby noticed the layers of dirt on the baseboards and around windows. Manager needs to step up and take care of property.

All was clean and fine at this property. Staff were all friendly!

Wonderful staff who worked to get our room ready early for us. Comfortable and clean room. Only complaint is that it was so hot, and the ice machines were out of order. I would have loved to have been able to have a nice jug of ice water.

This property is not properly maintained or cleaned. Bed had crumbs which were obviously leftovers from previous guest. Towels had stains on them and leftover toothpaste in the sink. For the $200 charge this property is one to stay away from. Very disappointing!

It was clean and comfortable.

The breakfast was very basic and meager. The building is showing its age and not in great condition. Some users reported feeling unsafe in the area. While we didn’t have such concerns, these reports were a little unsettling. Perhaps management should recognize this and provide more than just a flimsy chain lock on the room doors.

The shower only had cold water. The tv remote didn’t work. Very substandard for the price.

Convenient to my destination.

The room was 70% clean when I arrived. The door tag said to put dirty towels on the floor. We did and every day when we returned, nothing was done in our room. This lasted the whole stay. We reported it, they gave some excuse, gave us towels. That’s it. No TP, didn’t take trash, no soap
