Americas Best Value Inn Lansing

The pros outweighed the cons on this room. No alarm clock, but the clock on the microwave was set properly. The rooms needed some fresh paint and TLC, the lighting was poor, but everything worked and it was reasonably clean. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable room, and not nit-picky, the price and location far out weigh the downsides. FORGET about getting wifi service tho. Lots of "time outs" in trying to connect, and dropped signals. Extremely slow (to the point of frustration) when it DID connect.

The room was quite dirty. The bed sheets had stains on them. One of the blankets had what appeared to be a blood stain on it. The bathroom was unable to be locked as the door frame appeared to have been damaged. Won't be back.

There was nothing outstanding about this hotel, just a place to crash for the night. One thing that did bother me was that it was listed under pet-friendly hotels on Expedia, but upon arrival there were multiple signs that said no pets allowed. Since I had already paid ahead of time the manager allowed me and my dog to stay the one night, after paying a small pet fee. Besides that, it was a decent place to spend the night!

Heater was broke and the room was cold. Asked to be moved to another room it was so cold. They said they didn't have any other open Jacuzzi rooms available even though the parking lot was almost empty all night. Got downgraded room and was told to talk with expedia about reimbursement for room price difference. Was very disappointed with this place.

poor outdated electric plugs not working didn't have any bath towels no iron or ironing board. walls were nasty looks like some coffee was threw everywhere and was not cleaned up bathtub looks nasty just everything

beds were comfortable, breakfast was non existent!

The room was so dirty! I'm not even sure they cleaned the bathtub because there was a soaked cigarette butt left in it.

Bullet proof glass for check in. Harassed to buy alcohol for under aged girls in lobby.

We were not impressed from the moment we got into our room. The bed was hard. The bathroom was small. The included breakfast was not what we were expecting. What it should have said was continental..(little tiny chocolate donuts and tiny cups of coffee) had it been labeled as such we wouldn't have booked our stay here.
