Americas Best Value Inn Lansing

Hotel seemed unsafe the grounds were dirty with litter and shopping carts. The checkin staff was unfriendly. There were people on the lobby cussing and acting ridiculous, and visiting with checkin staff.

The motel was hard to find. There is the huge, tall highway sign, but once you turn off the highway, the entrance sign is tiny and shared with a local car dealership.It is mounted on the ground and very hard to see. We drove past it three times. The only way we found it was to get as close as we could to the huge, freeway sign, then drive in circles until we found an entryway.

The price was very nice. The facility itself is very conveniently located for our purposes. The staff seemed okay. The room was somewhat rundown. There were holes in the floor, walls, and ceiling. The mattress was uncomfortable. The two pillows, per bed, lacked substance. The exposed box spring was dirty and torn.

It was horrible service, the breakfast is a joke and there's no second floor and someone kept banging on the door

Threadbare, dirty, scary, and smelly. This place needs a complete overhaul.
