Baymont by Wyndham Iron Mountain

The only positive was friendly helpful staff.

The building is run down, the room was superficially clean, but there was dirt in the corners and on the windowsills, one outlet besid the bed was dead, and the bed platform was very loud when getting on/off the bed. The breakfast was awful and the coffee tasted terrible.

The beds were actually comfortable. Location was good. Close to restaurants.

Needs overall updating badly. The hot tub was not working and not noted. The air conditioner/heater is very loud. Walls are paper thin.

Price

Scary accomodations. Dirty, old and outdated rooms. Did not feel safe. Pool area had chipping concrete and hot tub was out of order. King room only had one broken chair. No other seating but bed. Upon inspection of room and facility, we refused to stay in this sub par establishment. Staff was understandable and acknowledged cancellation n processed refund without hassle. This place either needs a massive renovation or to close its doors.

The gentleman at front desk was friendly was the ONLY good thing about out stay.

Very dirty, blanket was like a old curtain. Could close bathroom door as the trim was all broke. I stubbed my toe and was unable to sleep or continue to enjoy my vacation, milk in fridge with breakfast that consisted of cold biscuits and grave an watered down waffle mix was chunky and smelt HORRIBLE! Only willing to refund 1 out of 2 nights. I will post pictures as I think everyone should see what I'm talking about.

They put us on a ground floor due to our dog having a bad leg and was also put in a spot where we could cook on our grill!!!!!

The only thing that I didnt care for is the only way the television could be on is the bright main light had to stay on

The staff was friendly and helped when asked. We requested towels and got them in a timely fashion.

The building is old and needs a update badly. Outdated carpet and trim with a smell of mold in the hallways. Painted over duct tape with hairs in the paint on the back of our door. Breakfast was ok could have more options.
