Baymont by Wyndham Iron Mountain

the front desk area and all hallways were very cold. it took over an hour for the room to warm up and the bathroom never did warm up so showers were in a very cold room. there was a light in the parking lot that shined into the room and made to hard to sleep

Renovations are clearly not complete and photos are somewhat misrepresentative of all rooms. Looks like you chose the best to rep the whole hotel. Not sure how this place would pass an inspection (code)? Uneven floor in room Several changes in floor elevations (tripping hazards) Bathrooms: Although shower stall walls have been replaced, tubs were old; chipped porcelain that was painted over), no drain stopper in tub, bathroom door has rubber threshold laid on top of floor (couldn’t close door) Stair railing from first to second floor was VERY loose. Carpeting was old and dirty. Door handle/lock into room old and dirty. Walls need paint

The hot tub was broke alot of cigarette butts on the ground

Hot tub was out of order. Some of our towels were stained. Bed had a metal frame which was loud with every movement. Breakfast is t refilled so if you’re not there right away, there’s slim pickings. Bathroom door didn’t close all the way but suite room was huge and jacuzzi tub worked well!

extremely average hotel. bed was in a metal frame, bare lightbulbs above the sink, room had a fragrance smell that was clearly trying to overcompensate for something. vinyl flooring and mostly bare walls made for a jarring experience. but it overall seems fine, just very average and not worth the price I paid.
