The White Horse - A Heartwood Inn

We had a good stay at the White horse after a day of walking in the Surrey Hills. The room is very spacious and had a good shower. The little extras like a few sweet treats and tea/coffee in the room were very nice as well. We did however, find that the room along with the whole inn was very hot in temperature. The bar/dining area is large and quite charming, the food menu also looked good although we did not eat in the evening. We did have breakfast though which was very very nice and lots of options too. The parking situation is not ideal though. We arrived approximately 15:30 and there were no spaces left in the small car park. We had to park in the high street car park which was roughly a 5 min walk away. However, this wasn’t too bad as we only had to pay for 3 hours (£3.30) up until 6pm as evenings are free along with Sundays. Overall though we did enjoy our stay!

Extremely cosy bed, lovely atmosphere in the pub (probably best pub in Dorking as we sampled quite a few of them)

The room was so beautiful Clean tidy and looked amazing. The special touches were so nice. Hand written welcome note. Some sweets and it was a beautiful building.
