Room was larger than expected and bathroom was good with an excellent shower.

Great decor and attention to detail.

Slightly short or parking but plenty nearby after 6pm.

Veldig bra hotell, topp service og god hjelp med å oppbevare vår bagasje mens vi var på vinbesøk hele dagen på Denbies (gangavstand) og tok tog til London på kvelden. Perfekt!!

Vi hadde et flott dobbeltrom. Men det var bare EN stol å sitte på. Da vi ønsket en stol til hver av oss, ble det raskt ordnet.

We came here for my husbands 50th as I got a deal with Country Hotel Breaks. The pub is charming and our room was beautiful with lots of little added extras that were a welcome bonus. We had an allowance per person for dinner as part of our deal. The food was outstanding. The cheese soufflé is honestly dreamy. Our waitress was professional and friendly and had a new girl shadowing her as part of a trial shift (I hope she got the job, she did great and was lovely). Lamb shoulder and sticky toffee pudding also deserve a special mention as they were outstanding. Breakfast the next day was equally as lovely. The ONLY negative, is that as we booked as a deal we got a welcome drink which upon check in didn’t appear to be apparent on the system, and in the morning at breakfast, we were informed we would have to pay for breakfast and I had to show the email confirming it was in a package. Maybe if you’re offering a deal, it would be best to ensure everyone is aware of what is included so as to save any embarrassment. Like I say, that was the only slight negative and everything else was faultless. I would recommend either a stay or a meal here to anyone.

So welcoming with the surprised upgraded. Loverly touch of naughty treats too. Such comfy room with so easy to stay in bed. Good pressure on the shower. Good parking.
