Toiletries were not secure so screws fell all over the floor, room 17 was close to the outside tables in car park and I had asked for a quiet room, constant helicopter style noise all day and night, I suppose the ear plugs were a clue next to bed were a clue, but not for an expensive room!

Lovely room Comfortable bed Tea and coffee Very clean

Recycling being emptied into bins outside our window 11.30/12.00 and woke us up. Very loud.

Friendly staff

Charming, well renewed, complete.

Staff was friendly, but not very attentive. Could be more service oriented. Egg sitting outside and staff trespassing, not asking if I wanted to order something or offering pillows for the chairs. Same for bar area. Ordering at the bar is not usual for foreign visitors.

Fantastic hotel with very friendly staff we stayed here on our way to the airport. The room was excellent, the food was incredible we ended up eating in the evening also, breakfast was amazing too and with plenty of choices. Many thanks to everybody who looked after us. We will be back Mark and Rose

Everything was great

I stayed in a 'Snug' room and it was charming. Perfectly adequate for me. Decor was very boogie :) Bed was comfortable, cute bedroom lamps, and the chocs were a lovely surprise. Plenty of bottled water and milk, and radio playing when I arrived....nice touch . xxx

Certain senior staff a little dismissive for our liking.

Good room as usual (no 8 ) liked the welcome nibbles. We forgot about the fridge and complimentary water! Might need a reminder next time. We paid extra for a lovely big bed it was fabulous. We even used the iron and ironing board very good.

The only thing is the shower which was allowing too much water to leak out of the bottom which seemed to cover a lot of the bathroom floor. Please check the trim on the shower doors they are ageing!Thanks Today 23.4.26 we went for breakfast at 9.05 am. I just wanted a croissant and fruit and yoghurt. I was very disappointed that there were NO croissants left??? The fruit and yoghurt was very underwhelming. This was a surprise as I previously enjoyed all meals. We had lunch when we arrived on 22.4.26 and it was also underwhelming. I had haddock etc with another member of my family and it was strange that the potatoes were cut up as if there weren't enough potatoes in the kitchen!! It was not a tasty meal. My sister in law had the butternut squash but she said she'd give it 5/10 as it was not very tasty at all. I am surprised it had changed since we last visited as I do remember my husband had a steak last time and I had something that was very tasty and we all enjoyed all the food we had.
