"Pleasant stay, good value for money."

Location, parking (reasonable priced), staff, value for money.

Walls are very thin so you can hear people coming and going. Two children sharing a sofa bed, would really love hotels to have two single beds with a double as children just don’t want to share.

Great location, friendly staff, tasty breakfast

Family room includes bed and sofa bed. Sofa bed has several metal bars and mattress is too thin so you can feel all the barsaking it impossible to sleep on

Wow — what an absolutely fantastic stay at the Holiday Inn Reading South. The hotel was spotless, the food was great. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome, but the real standout was Suleyman. He was genuinely exceptional. Suleyman has such a natural gift for customer service that you simply don't come across very often. He took the time to engage with our children, making them laugh and feel included throughout our stay, and he created such a fun, relaxed, and welcoming atmosphere for everyone. Nothing ever felt forced — he was warm, attentive, and genuinely interested in making sure we all had a great experience. It's rare to find someone who goes above and beyond so effortlessly, and he truly made our stay memorable. Thanks to him, our children have declared this 'the best hotel ever' and haven't stopped talking about it since! They are already asking when we can come back and can't wait for our next visit. A huge thank you to Suleyman and the whole team for such a wonderful experience. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for outstanding hospitality and a family-friendly stay.
