Holiday Inn Preston by IHG

All the staff i encountered were super friendly starting with the Receptionist who checked me in and when i checked out remembered where i'd been. Had an evening meal on the 2 nights of my 3 nights stay, all good, as was breakfast! Have to question why the air-con is not switched on until April though. There is a note saying if you need a fan request one, so i did, and i needed that to cool down, my room temperature was 23c, and at night a little to warm for me without a fan. The fan guard was a little dusty if i'm being picky so perhaps the hotel could give these some attention. During my stay there was roadworks outside, not something the HI can control ofc, with the fan on it blocked out most of the noise so i still had a reasonable nights sleep. I was pleased with the general cleanliness of my room, my room high up so had nice view of the Bus Station and Car Park. I came by train which is around 15 mins walk from Preston Station to the hotel and i made sure i'd walk past the Wallace and Gromit statue in the Market place! i'd be happy to stay here again, but perhaps needs a little refurb in parts?

Parking is in short supply at the actual hotel car park but both times I managed to get a space, there is a car park just nearby if you can't get in. Hotel is clean, rooms are good and recently refurbed, but the staff are really good - Leah on reception, Jess in the bar and Charlotte on restaurant duty all couldn't have been more pleasant and accommodating, which made the stay a real pleasure.

We stopped here for a night after just comming back off holiday room was amazing staff couldn’t do enough for breakfast was amazing deffo stop here again bar area and food area was well maintained great choice of drinks and breakfast choice was brilliant

Stayed here due to our train terminating here due to a storm. The staff were brilliant. We were getting a bus the next day so we’re happy to see that the bus station was right next door. We ate at the hotel and the food was great. Had a late check out which was perfect.

Great example of the Holiday Inn brand! Ash and Kamila were truly wonderful in the restaurant and all the staff were top notch and professional. Room was well looked after and I was made to feel properly welcome. Hope to use this location whenever I’m here.

We had a lovely overnight stay with breakfast added in. Would definitely recommend as the staff were friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Will be back

Stayed in the Holiday Inn Preston, for 4 nights. I have to say this hotel is fab. Rooms were lovely and spotlessly clean. What stood out for me was the Friendliness of all the staff. The reception staff were so welcoming and friendly. The Bar staff were amazing too. Charlotte and the polish lady and the Bar manager couldn't do enough for me.Even though I liked bitter in a san miguel glass.😆 They were all just top class.. The housekeeping staff also were amazing and always said good morning and all the staff at breakfast again top class. I have stayed in a lot of hotels over the years, but without a doubt, the staff at the Holiday Inn Preston, leave all of them behind in courtesy and friendliness. Well done to all, this is how to run a hotel.👏👏👏👏
