Fairfield Inn & Suites By Marriott Beaumont

The property wasn't up to usual building standards. As a construction professional, it looks like the hotel was hastily constructed. Sloppy work and sloppier paint. When I arrived at my room, the lamp and television didn't work. When I went down for breakfast, nobody showed up to prepare it. When asked about it, the staff said they weren't serving due to Covid-19. Understandable, but why couldn't they have said that at booking or upon arrived so other breakfast plans could have been made? 5 days after my stay, they billed an additional $20.00. For what? Very disappointing.

This hotel advertised a continental breakfast. There was NOTHNG. Just coffee and Luke arm water for tea Everything was closed with no seating anywhere in lobby area. The staff said all breakfast has been canceled since COVID started. we want somewhat of a reimbursement. The only good thing about Fairfield is they use Paul Mitchell soaps and shampoos.

Website misrepresented actual amenities. There was no electricity (yall need back up generators to provide your customer during these situations), no wi-fi, no working television, pool was closed, no free breakfast. We feel like the hotel was price gouging due to the Hurricane Delta. $189 plus tax. We left at 815 as did many other customers. We are requesting a full refund in its entirety. We will be disputing the charge with our credit card company.

The was the absolute worst hotel.com experience I have ever had. First off I booked the room to stay during a Hurricane. I was concerned to stay at home due to a tree I believe would fall through the house. So the day before my stay I get an email from the hotel stating they are not allowing guests in the hotel due to the approaching hurricane. I called the hotel and they confirmed the were not allowing guests to stay. So I asked , so ther won’t be anyone staying there? And the manager tells me, only Entergy and Exxon Mobil employees. So basically the canceled my room to sell it at a higher rate. Disgusting.

The hotel was old and in the room the wall had a lot of water stains. The front office clerk for the evening was really polite.

My stay was alright, toilet in room did not work it took almost a hour for the tank to fill up to flush. The beds were comfortable and my check in was pleasant. Chris I think that is his name was very helpful. The night Auditor was very sweet and helpful as well. I overall enjoyed my stay.

Computer system had died and we could not check in. They sent us to another hotel where we had to pay more. I want to be sure to get a refund.

Staff is extremely friendly. Swimming pool is closed due to COVID, I’ve noticed that some travelers are missing that notification when booking this property. Check in was quick and smooth. Room stay could have been way better. We put the A/C down to as low as it would go and it still wouldn’t get cold. It’s 7:31am right now and my entire family have the blankets pushed off of them. Not sure if it matters but the paint on the walls in the room we stayed in is chipping all over the place. Elevator has a blinking red light that says “Elevator communication failure” but it got us up and down safely. Lol. They have “to-go breakfast pick up bags at the front”.. they prepared only 1 for us.. there are 2 adults here and 3 kids. The bag consists of an apple, chewy grain bar and yogurt. We will likely not stay here again when come back this way to head home. I personally wouldn’t have paid more than $80 for our 1 night stay.
