1st this property is in Hawkshead not Ambleside. Property could not be in a better location and is a grand building with great parking. The owners have pretty much nailed everything in a very unobtrusive way. Good breakfast with good choice. Rates are reasonable and they are dog friendly. Would recommend without hesitation.

Very basic breakfast, no choice of starter fruit , yoghurt or cereal. It is full English or cereal. No jam or marmalade to go with the one slice of toast. Didn't like texting breakfast night before, would prefer paper to tick choices.
