Room was outdated. Stinks. Bugs. Not that clean

I liked absolutely nothing. I paid extra for a beach front that I did not get when I arrived and the woman at the Front desk did not inform me they did not have any of the rooms available that I booked. She didn’t offer any accommodations or discount or to make it right that they false advertised the rooms they claimed to have available.

Everything ! Too long of a list to put down but … Bugs in room , mattress like a rock, bathroom the size of a crawl space couldn’t even shut the door to use it, air didn’t work. The view I PAID for and was deceived of was trash!!

Staff is wonderful. Clean facilities. Perfect location. Great food and atmosphere.

Did not like being by the workout room. It was noisy late at night with people dropping weights.

My husband travels a lot for work and consistently stays at Marriotts, so he had a lot of points which we used for this stay. This is a great property and we really enjoyed it. Highlights: - Two areas of rooms - garden view and ocean view. We had ocean view but the garden views looked nice too. Reminded me of what I envision Hawaii looking like. Very nicely maintained landscaping. - Two pool areas and a hot tub area. - Not a lot of garage parking under the ocean view rooms but plenty of parking on property and not a far walk. - They upgraded us to a suite (hubs is Platinum Elite). Had a wrap around covered balcony, couch with sitting area and tv in addition to the tv by the beds, good sized fridge with sink microwave and high top table and two chairs in the mini kitchen area. Average sized bathroom. - Breakfast area is really nice with tons of food options - make your own waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, gravy, biscuits, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, pastries, muffins, bagels, bread, English muffins, juices, white and chocolate milk, hard boiled eggs. - Outdoor tiki style bar and food by the pool closest to ocean - Workout room with treadmills, weights, cycle thing. - Resort fee of $25 a day you can use for food and drink - we did Pina Coladas - Several other amenities for Marriott Bonvoy - Free WiFi - Maid service every other day - Very quiet with the exception of the doors being very heavy and especially the maids would go in and out constantly letting them slam Only negative is the traffic due to the bridge construction but we were only impacted by it when we left town.

Location was good on the beach and close to the ballpark which is why we were there. Room was fine, except I think the outside doors should take a key to get inside. It says they do, but it doesn't work.

Food was decent, but they ran out of food at the Upper Deck, that was disappointing since we didn't want to leave. And paid a lot of money for 2 margaritas that were terrible.....
