Clarion Hotel Conference Center on Lake Erie

The lake view was very peaceful and beautiful!

Nothing

The hotel was filthy. Everything. The elevators. The rooms. Nasty. Scratched up walls. Scratched up doors. Folgers coffee. Awful. Chemical smells in hallways.

Rooms were clean, but no trash pickup for 3 days and very small waste baskets. Elevator broke and pictures missing on walls.

I can’t rate anything. Had to cancel daughter sick and got babysitter boys sick. Unfortunately, i did not get insurance to cover cancellation. However, i did cancel and ask for grace. No one returned call like the front desk said they would.

Loved the area. There was live music nearby and the brewery was fun.

The room door felt flimsy when it was closed. The vent unit smelled when it blew, and there was mold on the ceiling. The rooms could use an update for sure. The bathroom was good. It's crazy that there is no refrigerator in the room. That is a big letdown. Beds were comfy and clean. The restaurant was fine, but with only one server, things went a bit slow.

There was dirt or mold on the ceiling, curtains are old, carpet is old, tub looked dirty. Needs a room update to be more modern. Glass outside breakfast area was full of spider webs and dirt. All windows should be replaced.

The location was great, close to the boardwalk and beach. Continental breakfast was good

There were blood stains on one of the mattresses, on the wall, and on the shower curtain. The cleanliness could have been better.

Location was very good. Breakfast was convenient with some items good, others not so much. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Rooms had a rundown feeling. Shower/tub was very stained. Toilet was very low, especially for seniors. There was no fan in the bathroom. There were no USB plugs in the rooms so we had to buy adapters. When I checked my credit card history there was a charge of about $4.50 for the continental breakfast. Never paid for a continental breakfast before. The charge was not on my final bill as printed for me at checkout.
