I like there was a bar / restaurant inside the facility and it was very comfortable.

The cheapest meal on the dinner menu at the bar / restaurant was $25.00 for a bacon cheeseburger. The burger was very good, but not inexpensive.

The evening front desk person was very friendly and helpful. The location was good for the event we were attending. The restaurant looked nice, but we didn't get a chance to try it out.

The tv channels were all out of wack; the NBC station was EI in the morning and then later in the day it was the MLB network. Other stations were also wrong. The bed did not have a fitted sheet on it, just a top sheet, which was constantly sliding around. The weight room had a leaking ceiling; when I informed the front desk they didn't seem concerned and no one came to check it out while I was on the treadmill.

This is my 4th time staying here at the Doubletree in Lubbock and I’m already planning my next stay. My last review still rings true. The customer service level is top notch and led by Dee. I saw him come in on his day(s) off to make sure everything was going well when they ended up short staffed. And I’m not talking about just managing, he was pitching in to clean rooms, mount a new tv in the dining area, all while keeping his ears open to anything else going on. I also noticed this time the rest of his staff and how they pitch in and work harder because he is there with them to make it happen. What a fantastic team he has created. Stay here. If something is wrong with your room or stay, mention it and Dee and his team will work tirelessly to fix it.

The breakfast coffee was cold. Hard to get service. Expense for the small amount of food serviced. Nothing was done with the room. Bed was not touched. No clean towels were left in the room.
