The Hog's Back Hotel & Spa Farnham

The property needs an overhall! Its looking tired in rooms and the pool areas. We were given a room that had a small window to open, but sadly a very loud piece of machinery was going 24-7 right outside. The main thing that we were told when we asked for clean towels on our 3rd day of a 4 day stay, we only change them when you leave! God help us if we had been staying a week! Its was 34° outside and we had been having 2-3 showers a day. We had used the spa also but you cant beat a cool shower before bed. But sadly not with clean towels. It actually shocked us to say how it had come across when booking it. But hey ho. Not for us.

Breakfast is

On arrival, the receptionist was not very polite or helpful. She was very brusque and answered our questions before we had even finished. She asked us to register our car which we did but have received a parking fine, which we do not intend to pay. We were having problems with the receptionist because as a disable person i person have problems climbing stairs and she said that there were no room downstairs because there was a party going on that night. In the morning at breakfast I asked if a party had taken place and was told no. My blue badge was clearly displayed in the car. RoomThe sink had a leaking tap which has caused unsightly rust, all the soap were empty or nearly empty. There is a big stain on mattress bottom left side. We left the room on the Monday to use the Spa when I got back to the room about 3 pm the room had not been cleaned and I had to ask a maid to make up the bed and she did while I was in the room, the bathroom was not touched and dirty glasses and tea cups were just left, bins were not emptied. I was not going to leave a review but feel that your service was very poor I look forward to a speedy response especially regarding the. Parking ticket.

Noisy, no sleep due to heavy traffic all night long room was at the front of the hotel, summer with no air-conditioning so windows where open.

Property was very clean and tidy staff very helpful and room was perfect. Definitely stay here again.

For a spa hotel it is very dated. Hotel restaurant area is very bland, boring and unwelcoming. Bar area is great and staff are friendly

Food menu I feel is out of date

The air conditioning really would have made a huge difference to the review, there was a fan but it’s never as good as air conditioning. There were some dirty socks in the room too. Restaurant staff and reception staff were pleasant.

Nice room, but hot, with only a fan. The power went out in the morning, which wasn't the hotel's fault, but made us miss our prepaid breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The floor around the breakfast area was very dirty and looked like it had not been cleaned. Also i think its bad that when having breakfast you cant sit by any of the windows as this is closed off. We also found the hot tubs to be dirty
