The Hog's Back Hotel & Spa Farnham

Service in restaurant was not good. Table cleared while some were still eating. Choice at breakfast very limited especially continental. No a/c and room very hot.

Firstly the positives, bar staff and young glass collector were lovely. The food was tasty, although it was just good pub grub. The not quite so positives. Turned on the air conditioner (positioned above the bed) and we were covered in black dust, which stained the duvet when we tried to brush it off. Secondly unable to order room service or book into the empty restaurant due to lack of staff as there were two functions. Everyone who wanted to eat were herded into the bar. As this was a cheap last minute night away we just got on with it without a fuss. Not sure I would return though.

The staff were really good! Booked us in for breakfast when we arrived which meant that we didn’t have to pay 4 adults (if we had to book online) for 2 adults 2 children. 2 Hot tubs were available but no jacuzzi, that was drained but no bother. The spa facilities were great. Pool wasn’t the warmest to start with but if you were in and moving it’s perfectly fine. No complaints from us or the children! Plenty of people swimming when we were in. Food was tasty and service was quick and attentive. Room was clean and modern. No complaints. Thanks for a great stay!

Stayed at this property for convenience and thoroughly enjoyed my time here - lovely room and facilities at the Spa. I can't comment on meals as did not eat whilst there. The hotel is situated just off a busy dual carriageway so not great for me running whilst staying there and they only had Tesla recharge points so not good if you don't happen to have a Tesla!

We are a female couple, we booked a double room perfect, when we got there place was perfectly clean. When we checked in ask for my name and then said to me there is only one bed in the room and I said yes!!!! Why did he say that when they know 2 people were sharing. Otherwise other staff were very cheerful and greeting were good.

All excellent, great staff at front desk, rooms good for families, very clean and nice. Breakfast good, all staff very caring.

I stayed for 4 nights and was upgraded to a family size room, not sure why but thank you. Good buffet breakfast. Spa facilities available. There is no lift available to upper floors because of the age of the hotel, I was told. I would definitely book again.

Amazingly quiet as so vlose to main road. Great pool and gym.
