Very nice comfortable room. Very convenient for where I needed to be. Ample free parking.

The decor of the rooms are tired. They really need decorating. The carpet didn’t look as if it’s been vacuumed. It took us a while to find information relating to WiFi. The bed dipped in the middle. The walls were paper thin. So much so that we could hear the conversation of our next door occupants

Spacious rooms, massive TV that you can stream to, food was good, plenty of breakfast options. Full English breakfast, fruit and yoghurt, meats and cheeses, cereal, toast, pastries, pancakes, hot drinks and juices. Spa was small but everything you want - jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and pool. Towels and locker keys supplied free of charge. 10 mins from zoo and city centre. Perfect location.

Dinner service was a little disjointed. We had to wait quite while to be served for dinner even though there were only 5 people in the restaurant and then saw about 4 different people for different things. Once they did take the order the food was brought out quickly though. However breakfast service was immediate. Depends what staff are working.

Brasserie seemed in good decorative condition. Food was of fair to good quality. Reasonably quiet so suitable for our needs

Generally the hotel seemed quite tired. The room was OK but could do with cosmetic work. The leisure facilities, specifically the changing rooms, could definitely do with a renovation
