Its just one of those Hotels that used to be nice but hasn't seemingly been renovated at all and is now slowly falling apart. What I did like is the change of towels every day.
I booked the king suite, its huge, lovely sofa area and the biggest bed ever! Complimentary water and snacks were a nice touch.
A very tired and shoddy establishment. Barely worthy of two stars never mind four. Peeling paint rat boxes leaking radiators
Our room had ripped curtains and window sill paint was peeling off. Bed and bathroom was ok
Could hear the other room guests snoring poor isolation and very bad quality
The hotel did not give me a key for my room and was told system was down. In the morning the shower did not work so could not shower

The whole property needs updating and cleaning. Staff kept disappearing so no service in the bar. Would not recommend to anybody.
Lovely stay at the hotel. Helpful kind welcome staff on reception. Lots of space in our junior suite. Lovely gym. Had a lovely meal in the evening and were impressed with the standard. The staff were lovely and accommodating with the kids. The grounds could do we a tidy up to be able to use the outdoor tables and pergola etc. The breakfast was nice but we arrived at 9.20 and felt like it was the end of breakfast although it said there was breakfast till 10. We wouldn’t want to waste food but it would have been nice to been offered to get anything that had run out such as bacon pastries etc but we had to ask for this, only a small thing but would have made us few more welcome for breakfast etc. overall we had a lovely stay and would come back.
