perfect hotel for short stay as well as holiday beautiful area

We used the hotel both as a base and as a place of relaxation. Ideal hotel for both. Everyone was friendly and helpful. It was decorated beautifully for Christmas. It is a beautifully situated hotel.

We are very happy with the overall friendly service.

Our decision was purely based on previews and comments and photos left by guest staying at this hotel. Pleasantly surprised by the surroundings and topped by the attention to detail we did look forward to staying here. Staff have been very attentive, room comfortable, but most of all the food and waiter/waitress service superb. If anyone looking for comfort in a quiet surrounding in Holland then you can't go wrong.

a nice place to unwind,peace and quiet

I booked the hotel 2 months ago for myself, my wife and my 5 year old son. When I arrived at the hotel, at 10pm after driving for nearly 10 hours covering over 500 miles, I was told that the hotel wanted extra money for a bed to be placed in our room. Luckily I had the reservation to hand and showed the inclusion on my son (including his age). The agreed a bed would be delivered by I would have to pay in the morning. I said I would discuss it with the manager in the morning. When the bed arrived it was just dumped in the room, so my wife and I had to re-arrange the whole room to find space to put the bed. Next morning, I had to argue the extra change for the bed, then they agreed to cancel the bed charge, but wanted to then charge extra for my sons breakfast even though breakfast was included in the price. Overall very disappointed in the service at the hotel, although the beds and breakfast were very good.

Very nice hotel in beautiful location. The staff were very helpful. We will definitely stay there again.

This is a very nice hotel if you are on holidays, as it is located in middle of a forest and you will enjoy both, the tranquility of the sourrandings and the hotel facilities. However, if you are on business, this is a different history, as you have to allow some 40 minutes into Zwolle and have to drive on B roads that are often blocked to traffic. The hotel kitchen closes at 21:00 hours sharp, which is a bit of a nuisance, and should be avoided anyway.

We picked this hotel because we know the area. We lived in Epe for a couple of years. Many times we passed this hotel in the forest. Now being one of their guests it was really an awesome experience. Keep up this spirit....
