Hotel reception - all very helpful and obliging. The room allocated extremely comfortable. Gluten free breakfast delicious too.

"Poor service from reception and management"

Central location makes this a great place to stay in the heart of Brighton

We didn’t get to check in to our room until 4.45 (check in is 3pm) …..we were told this was due to housekeeping staff shortage . Every time we went to the desk to check if our room was ready (they asked us to check with them every 30mins !) it was a shrug with a sorry but not ready …no estimate of how long. We were offered drinks voucher (1 drink each ) . We asked to speak to the duty manager , but told they were busy , I asked for a call that never happened. The bar was cashless - card only. I will not use this hotel again
