I needed a one night stay and I chose this because it was the best value hotel I found near York (it was a Saturday night stay so hotel prices in the city were very expensive). My room was located on the ground floor near reception and the lounge bar, so I had been concerned it might be noisy but this was not the case. Very quiet and I had a peaceful stay. Breakfast was very good - lots of choice and tasty. I would stay again.
