"Amazing food, location and staff. But horrible rooms with creaky floors and damaged/ stains everywhere"

Lovely from the outside, nice car park, the hotel inside the reception area was lovely, bar food was superb the bbq bacon cheeseburger was delicious and the pepperoni pizza.

The original room was damaged and definitely not a privilege room. There was water damp in the ceiling above the bed and a few other tweaks. We got moved to a what was called a Luxury suite but again it was damaged and just not cleaned properly.

Easy to get to and near park and ride

Was promised a ground floor room but this changed once we checked in, rooms need a refresh and hotel is looking dated.

Schöne Lage, gutes Hotel, alles durchdacht. Sehr gutes Frühstück!

Nichts. Einiges am Mobiliar war älter, doch das macht gerade den Charme des Hotels aus!

"Hot room with a lot of road noise"

We had a spacious, comfortable room. Dated interior, but that didn't bother us - furniture was comfortable, we had everything we needed, and our dog was welcome, so these things were positive.

We stayed here in hot weather, and there was no way to reduce the temperature in the room. There was an old, crappy fan, but my wife can't tolerate fans, so using that was impossible. Add that there was a lot of road noise, and the combination of these two disadvantages cost me a lot of sleep.

Not much , garden was nice. Location was a little out of York so only £11 for an Uber that saved on parking.

Charged me £20 a night extra because we had a small dog with us , which is ridiculous. hotel is dated , no AC in rooms , dusty on furniture in rooms, bathroom was grubby.
