Great size rooms and location.

Service was extremely poor. Understaffed. Room was not ready at 3pm the ‘guaranteed time’ to check in. When I asked about this nobody seemed to know what had happened and I was offered no explanation or even an apology until I raised this as an issue. Didn’t know basic detail about the one special they had at the spa. Didn’t have any beach towels left. Their knowledge of the local area was poor. The sunrise and sunset timing board behind the reception desk hadn’t been updated in weeks. At a five star hotel there is a minimum expectation the basics were right and they were not. Really disappointing.

The room was nice and clean, spacious and the location is excellent.

On the second night, we were woken around midnight by extreme false alarms and subsequent announcements. We were in deep sleeps and it was very loud, disturbing and repetitive. I was unable to go back to sleep for the rest of the night so it definitely ruined our night. We are surprised that QT management have not emailed with an apology. It was a very negative part of our stay.
