Astoria Hotel

Very dated decor and rooms. Breakfast buffet is very limited variety and nothing grand but ok if you love cold meats, cereal etc. - coffee was lovely.

I honestly can’t understand how this hotel has a 3.9 rating on TripAdvisor. It was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. There was absolutely no service: the staff were consistently arrogant and rude, as if doing the bare minimum was a favor rather than their job. The air conditioning didn’t work, and no one made any effort to fix it. Every day they messed up the towels—either forgetting them or leaving too few. On top of that, the room wasn’t cleaned properly, and one day it wasn’t cleaned at all. The level of disorganization and the complete lack of care for guests make this place a hotel to avoid at all costs. It’s not even worth one star. I truly don’t understand how it’s still operating with such an inflated reputation. Strongly recommend staying away from this hotel.

Good stay

Comfortable rooms with modern amenities and friendly staff who were always helpful. The location was great, walkable and right near the heart of the city.

This hotel was a stones throw away from Antwerp station. Very close to all the sites and easy to get around the city. They offer a good continental breakfast. I found the hotel could do with a bit of freshen up. A little refurb here and there is needed.

A nice and comfortable hotel to stay in. The staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating. The rooms are clean, tidy and equipped with the amenities you need. Location is great and quiet. Good for family vacation and staycation. The comfort rooms are clean like in a five star hotel. A nice reception area.
