From January 1st, 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night applies to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. "We only stayed there for the beach but the overall services is still much to be desired !!"

The beach location

The mgt of the property is not practical as some instructions are ridiculous , resulting the staff of being not giving their utmost services to the guests. Eg of the instructions among others were grab/ panda food riders were not allowed to drop off the orders at the hotel lobby or concierge but only allowed to drop off at the guard house / and the guests have to walked all the way to the guard house to pick up their order items!! Pls note tht delivery are not necessarily be food as guests order items eg pampers/ medicine etc !! Other 5 stars hotel in Kuantan eg Hyatt Kuantan are very accomodative as they dont hv any issue with grab/panda delivering items up to the concierge which truly showed their great hospitality. The property so called swiss care were hardly answered when we called for enquiries or assistance. Worst is why would the property mgt allowed the ‘ reno contractor to drill the kids swimmg pool during the time when the pool was being used by guests which caused anxiety and noise among the guests children . The mgt of kuantan swiss grand has to buck up if you want to live up to your newly upgraded 5 star status !! We were also not allowed to bring our own food while picnicking at the beach , which is very absurd !!

The beach abit dirty, and not to safe because lots of people ride ATV dangerously. My son almost hit by the ATV rider

I enjoyed my stay here as the hotel is located very close to the beach. The staff were friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable.

Breakfast spread are just okay, but could be better. The parking area is a bit far from the lobby, which is understandable.
