The free breakfast was convenient and tasty. The room was clean, and the pool was nice. Pleasant property.

I’m beginning to be very disappointed staying at a Hilton hotel, the hotel needs some up keep. The room had a ton of dust on the lamps, the rack for the wash cloth was almost hanging off the wall the room smelt like cigarette smoke. That I went out to buy products to make it smell some better. It needs an upgrade because it’s beginning to be run down.

If you are just looking for a place to stay on your way south be aware of the excessive local tax here. Over $20 on a single weekday night. Breakfast ends at 9 during the week. Friendly staff and clean room.

This hotel is a great location to all the hot spots. The base, the Greene and Austin Landing. With that being said it’s Old & in Desperate need of a renovation. We worked with Rae & our 1st room (king). The refrigerator compressor was loud & no way we would be getting a good night of sleep. She worked with us & moved us to the only room available. Room 232 needs to be removed as available until a renovation happens. It was in terrible shape! The shower walls are broken and it’s a miracle the shower curtain is staying up! The carpet was ripped up and is dirty. She had already promised to move us when placing us in this double bed room the next night. So yes our 2 nd room (double) & our 3rd room. (King) on our 2nd night. We were to be here all week but after all the problems we have decided that it is our best interest to leave & go elsewhere. Normally we don’t leave reviews but yes we are diamond members & Hilton owners and this is the worst location we have ever stayed in & we do lots of traveling all over the U.S. Rae was very nice & respectful to us as well as other staff members.

The property was well laid out suite wise and the common areas were nice but the room itself definitely showing signs of age - cracked tiles in bathroom, faded/peeling wallpaper and paint, etc. Also, the bed's mattress is definitely sagging and probably should be replaced and, FWIW, the bed was incorrectly made - the fitted sheet (or was it the box spring cover?) was used as a top sheet - interesting indeed. On the plus side - breakfast was very good as was front desk service.
