Parking fees

Everything was nice, the staff were very nice and so helpful. The room was clean. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

With a Hilton property, expectations are generally higher. This was a very average experience. Room was only cleaned/trash emptied/new towels only once during our 5 day stay. And the pool was not open at all during our stay. Quite an inconvenience when kids are expecting to swim. We did have the option of going to an adjacent property, but quite an inconvenience when traipsing a youngster back and forth thru parking lots. And please, read the ENTIRE agreement so the $15/night parking fee doesn't catch you off guard. Just an average stay when we expect so much more from the Hilton Brand name.

Wow. Never been treated so disrespectfully in all my Hilton stays. I asked this Arizona (think dry/hot) hotel's front desk person (Camry) for a bottle of water since I lost the top off of mine (I was holding in my hand for validation). She said, "I can't give you one. You're only allowed the two at check in." I was stunned. So I asked, "Even for a Lifetime Diamond Member?" To which she responded, "EVEN for a Lifetime Diamond Member. That's hotel policy." Aimbridge is the hospitality group here-and I am now energized to PRE-check any hotel I want to reserve at to ensure it's not an Aimbridge managed hotel. It takes 1,000 nights to become a Lifetime Diamond Member, which I achieved over 5 years ago (and I travel about 85% of the year). That means I've given appx $200,000 to Hilton over the years, but when I need a $.20 bottle of water, I get told "no?" Additionally, housekeeping practices are lacking: I got to my room minutes after they left, yet the smoke alarm is beeping (and they had not called that in to the Front Desk to be serviced). The next morning, I go to take a shower and both the conditioner and shampoo are empty (great. I'm standing in the shower already wet - not like I can run down stairs real quick or wait for the FD to bring me some). Then the door lock battery craps out and I'm locked out for 30 minutes. I heard from staff that they don't regularly change the batteries - they wait for them to fail (which means wait for the customer to suffer through that). I sent an email on this, was pushed around, and a week later, there's been no response, nor has anyone has reached out to me. There also aren't ice machines - you have to run down to the front desk every time (in AZ? Really?). And then an unexpected $15/day charge for parking (nice....hide that from the rate - sneak it on 'em later, huh?).

It was fine but everytime we went out into hallway in 2nd floor it had a very strong weed smell.

Great area to stay—clean streets and a variety of dining options nearby. The staff was polite and friendly. The bathroom was spotless, and the shower was excellent. We especially loved the heated pool!

Unfortunately, the price is quite high for the level of service provided. 1) The room should not be advertised as a family room if the only sleeping option besides the master bed is a sofa. The sofa was extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. 2) The kitchen area had several issues. The tap water had a strong, unpleasant smell, so we avoided using it to prevent the room from smelling bad. The pot was heavily worn and not properly cleaned. When we tried using the toaster, the fire alarm went off—not due to smoke or a burning smell, but because of the heat radiating from the device. 3) Breakfast was very disappointing, with a limited selection and no variety throughout our 9-day stay. There were no healthier options like salad, fruit, or toppings for bread (such as cheese or ham). Additionally, all dishes, utensils, and cups were disposable plastic, with no recycling options, which I found unacceptable. 4) It seemed like the hotel accommodated pets, as the hallways often had a strong dog odor. 5) While the air conditioner worked well, it was extremely loud, making it difficult to use at night without being woken up by the noise.
