Homewood Suites by Hilton Minneapolis-Mall Of America

The Homewood Suites were awesome. First, the location was great. It’s right across from the Mall of America, near Target and Trader Joe’s, and is even connected to Chevy’s. Second, the rooms were clean and spacious. It has a stove and microwave making cooking convenient. It also has a small gym and laundry. The breakfast was not to be missed either. The staff was very nice and helpful, especially Rhonda. Would stay again if in the Minneapolis area.

The property itself was great and in a great location.

Our room smelled so strong of cologne. It was absolutely miserable- like someone dumped a bottle- or someone sprayed it heavily trying to cover up another smell. We had to try to sleep with windows open- since the windows were open, we couldn’t keep it cool. We didn’t request a room change because we thought we would power through. We didn’t sleep well and I left with an awful headache. I mentioned it to the front desk at checkout but there was no offer for a partial refund.

Back here again in summer as opposed to winter. Once again the staff has been warm, welcoming, and helpful. Shout out again to Rhoda for always greeting people with a smile and making us feel at home. And Hillary thanks again for all you do behind the scenes to keep everything running so well.

Bloomington. Room was on the dirty side. Fridge made an awful noise the whole time. Had to rearrange furniture in order to pull out the sofa bed. The pool was on the chilly side. Breakfast was not terrible but could have had more options for protein. Breakfast tacos both mornings not my thing. Price was fine. Best part of our stay was Rhoda at the front desk Monday and Tuesday mornings. 6/16-6/17. She went above and beyond to help me remedy my wife's migraine. If not for her would have been a 2.

Clean and Polite staff

The location is great! Walking distance to Mall of America.

Stayed for 4 nights and not a single housekeeping service was done, we requested it but no one came to atleast take out the garbage. Breakfast was decent, but it was the same food for 4 days,, a little variance would be better.

Overall, it was an excellent stay and met all my expectations. There were some pre-arrival room issues, but Rhoda was able to sort it all out, resulting in an excellent stay. If only she had the magic to prevent the two airline delays that I experienced. Melissa provided text communication, adding a sense of comfort, if there was anything needed during my stay. The staff was great and friendly. Would stay here again.

I had to wait to get a room, but Rhoda was able get me a room right away. She went above and beyond to make my stay pleasurable. Also visited with her in the morning at coffee. Will stay again. The suites are tired, but they are in the process of renovating the entire hotel. Will stay again.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Homewood Suites, which is just across the street from the Mall of America. The excellent service began at the airport when I called for the shuttle. I discovered I had just missed it, but the person at the hotel (Rhoda) assured me that the shuttle would pick me up in 50 mins. Sure enough, it was on time! Upon arrival, as soon as I walked in to the lobby, I was greeted by name! Rhoda was at the counter to let me know my room was not ready due to my early arrival but should be available soon. After a walk around the mall, it was not long before I received a text saying my room was ready. Each day Rhoda provided a friendly smile and was attentive to any need. The room was well appointed and comfortable and the free breakfast, satisfying. The hotel is very convenient to the mall with restaurants across the parking lot. This is my second stay here and I would return without hesitation.

Super kind and friendly staff. Rhonda was terrific at the front desk. My flight got in earlier than expected, and certainly I didn't expect the rooms to be ready for early check-in as it was before noon, so guest services checked in my luggage, told me exactly how to safely get to the mall and let me know when the room was ready. The shuttle from the airport was timely- the driver was great, as well as the shuttle driver who took me to Hazelwood to meet family for dinner that evening. The rooms were clean There aren't many flights after 10:00 p.m. so even though you're close to the airport there were no noise problems as mentioned in some earlier reviews. Hot breakfast was great, staff was mindful of ensuring food was available and full length windows to the outdoor patio brought a warmth to the breakfast seating. Even though I was a guest for only one evening, Rhonda remembered my name at breakfast the next day and recommended appropriate transportation to the conference in city center. Thank you Homewood Suites staff- you're kindness makes a difference in this world!
