Homewood Suites by Hilton Baton Rouge

Rooms were nice, and huge. The staff was so friendly. My family and I felt super comfortable which isn't normal for us in hotels. Loved the fact that they had big bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the showe in the bathroom. The kitchen in the room has a stove top, apartment size fridge, dishwasher, microwave, and dishes. The pull out couch was very comfortable. We were in a suite and and it felt like I was in an apartment with everything I needed. If I ever have to go down there agian foray reason this is where I will stay. Breakfast was amazing. It wasn't the normal cereal, toast, and muffins. They cooked eggs, sausage, hash browns with veggies and sausage, smoked sausage, and grits. I'm not sure what else the cook on other days. But the two days we were there it was different breakfast. They also had yogurt and fruit. They had grills outside in case you wanted to grill. By far the best hotel I went to. The price was honestly shocking for what you get. I would have expected to pay alot more for this any where else.

The pool needed to be cleaned some more. But im sure that was because they were packed and had a social event going on at the time so they couldn't make it to the pool. It wasn't green or anything. Just needed to be skimmed for leaves and bugs

The property location was fine. The lobby was well kept

The hallways were stained the carpet was stained in the hallways. The hotel room was humid the pullout couch. The mattress was stained, and the mattress was very uncomfortable. The blanket that they provided felt like it was deteriorating. It felt like plastic rather than fabric there was mold in the restroom. and at around 1 AM, there was a hotel guest that was being incredibly loud and it took the hotel staff over half an hour to handle the situation.

The lady that did the breakfast was AMAAAAAAAAAAZING !!! The breakfast was soooooo good !!!

The pool wasn’t working

This hotel is old, and there are two other hotels next door that are much better. The Tru, and the Home2Suites are newer, and more updated. We ended up having to move rooms because the refrigerator was rusted, and the shower was quite dated, and the carpet and couch looked dirty. The carpet is old, and torn in some places. Having stayed at Homewood suites in the past, this hotel is in much need of updating. And the breakfast was dried out, and not up to the Homewood standards. I rarely say this, but skip this one.

Great place to stay. Traveled with friends for an LSU baseball game. Had plenty of room to relax with friends in the room late at night for drinks n playing games. Breakfast was good too.

Absolutley disgusting. Do not stay here. We arrived late and were recommended this hotel after another hotel was booked it was disgusting. I contacted both Hilton and this specific hotel a couple times to let them know and show them the pics I took but I never got a response. Most likely because they know how disgusting it was. Dirt everywhere, stains on carpet, dust on walls, toothpaste stains on bathroom cabinets, ceiling falling apart, window broken, I mean the list goes on. Below are only a few pictures I could have taken many more. I wish the hotel would have gotten back to me to atleast let me know that they cared and were aware of the issues, but no response after multiple times trying to contact. Shame on Hilton.

When I checked in the room was dirty bathtub had dirty water in it also trash was in all the garbage cans and they still made us stay in the room claiming that was the only room available smh
