Hilton Garden Inn Hershey

Very nice hotel with clean spacious rooms. Wonderful bathroom. The hotel was in good condition and I would stay there again.

Good location

I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Hershey and had one of the most miserable hotel experiences of my life. The room temperature was literally 50 degrees the entire night. Two separate technician visits couldn’t fix it, and all we were offered were extra blankets. Unsurprisingly, we had the worst night’s sleep — freezing, uncomfortable, and completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, the hotel clearly suffers from major deferred maintenance issues — so this wasn’t some random fluke. That in itself might’ve been forgivable if the staff had shown even an ounce of real hospitality or accountability. But no such luck. When I spoke to the General Manager, Chris Perry, about the issue, he showed a stunning lack of concern. No apology. No form of compensation. No ownership of the problem. Just a shrug and a "not our responsibility" attitude. In the hospitality industry, the word hospitality should actually mean something. Here, it doesn’t. At all. It’s incredibly disappointing — especially from a brand like Hilton, where you expect a baseline level of professionalism and care. This management team doesn’t meet it. Frankly, they don’t even try. If you're coming to Hershey, do yourself a favor: stay literally anywhere else.

Nice staff. Rooms were clean.

This place would be perfect if they enforced pool rules, quiet times, and getting breakfast didn't take an hour. It's conveniently located to hershey park and shopping. We bought the breakfast package but it takes forever. One day we didn't even get our breakfast. They were catering to a class trip and told us they didn't know how long it would be for our food. We were paying guests too and I thought it was wrong. There were unattended, out of control, kids in the pool with no adult supervision. Kids would run up and down the halls screaming and knocking on doors, at all hours. Nothing was ever done about it. Im not sure id stay here again due to the noise.

On a whole it was pretty good.staff helpful and kind

I was supposed to stay one night at this hotel with my girlfriend on our way down to visit a friend and we ended up getting sick two days before we were supposed to leave. When I went to apply for a refund for the room I was told that Hilton Garden is “holding firm” on their cancellation policy and I will not be receiving a refund. For a billion dollar corporation, this is a pretty bad look. When it comes to getting sick and unable to travel, not being able to get my money back is very disappointing and I will NEVER be staying at another Hilton hotel or any property related to Hilton. Your customer service and hospitality could not be any worse!

The area

The pillows were awful and flat. Housekeeping was only every other day, but I didn't find that out till we came back from baseball all day and no cleans towels the bed weren't made.
