Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Cedar Rapids Airport, IA

We had to stay at this hotel for a stay to play tournament, so I will say this was not a wholly voluntary stay. We checked in late on a Friday night after playing baseball all day. We turned in for the night almost immediately. I got up to use the bathroom in the night and slipped on a puddle of water outside the bathroom. Almost hitting my head on the sink. Upon turning the light on, I saw the puddle and realized the light fixture was leaking water from I'm guessing the room upstairs' shower since we were on the ground floor. I went to the front desk to ask for a new room and alerted them to the leak. I was informed that there were none. So, I then asked for extra towels to mop up the water. The next day I stopped at the desk on our way out for the day to ask maintenance to look at the leak. I was told it would be looked at. Upon returning at the end of the day, all the towels I had put down were removed and the leak was still leaking, so another puddle. I went to the front desk and asked for more towels and informed them it had not been fixed. I was told there were no extra towels. That left me using the room towels to mop up the water thus leaving me and my son with no clean towels. So, not only did we have to hear the dripping all night, every night, we now had no towels. I asked for a refund on night one and was told that it would take several business days, which I did not have since I was going to have to secure another hotel.

Loved how clean it was. Great price. Good breakfast selection.

The Staff was so friendly and helpful when we arrived early they let us check in, And it means so much more when we were in iowa to see our mom for the final time with her on Hospice. The room was clean &, spacious

Construction all over but in No part was it the hotels fault

Pretty utilitarian -chipped furniture -worn towels and HATE wall mounted toiletries! Day staff indifferent attitude.
