The staff were so accommodating and I love that they text you to see if you need anything. We were out at a funeral but I knew we needed a cot in our room. I was able to text the front desk while we were out and the cot was set up and ready once we got back to the room.

There was a very musky smell in the room and elevator. The smell in the room got better once we turned the air conditioner on and got some air circulation.

"Pushy and unfriendly staff...not the normal Hilton standard."

I traveled to this Hilton hotel with my son, daughter and mother. We were in town for sports playoffs. We arrived about 10 min til 3pm. Check in was 3pm. Several of our fellow team families were in the lobby too. We were all told we had to wait until exactly 3pm to check in. So we stood for 10 minutes waiting while the young lady at the desk just sat watching us wait until 3pm. I get it though. If 3pm is the check in, of course we should wait right until 3pm. But with that said, we should also be allowed to access our room up until check out time too. But that wasn't the case. My family along with other families kept having housekeeping knocking on our door the next morning. It started around 8 or 9am. Housekeeping would knock. We answered. They would ask if we were still in the room using it. Never asked if we needed anything. Just kept knocking and asking. Finally when I began taking my luggage to my car around 10:30, I opened my room door to walk to the elevator. Housekeeping was waiting and asked if I was checked out. I told them no I wasn't checked out. I was just putting stuff in my car. Housekeeping told us it was fine and that she was going to go ahead and start cleaning our room anyway. Mind you, checkout is 11am. I had half an hour left. But all morning I was constantly asked if I would be leaving soon and then they took over my room before I was checked out. Additionally, we went down the morning of our stay to the continental breakfast. The lady stocking it was less than friendly. I saw there was a sign that said "Special Dietary Needs? Ask a team member for assistance." So since I am gluten free, I asked the staff member if they had any gluten free options (such as gluten free bread for toast). She looked at me like I had 3 heads and told me no they don't do that kind of stuff. I had requested a cot if one was available because they only had rooms with one king size bed. My request was never acknowledged with a yes or a no. Our room floor was sticky in multiple places. Overall, the staff was unfriendly, pushy, and generally rude. I tried to extend extra understanding because the wildfires were concerning many. But I was a paying customer and should have had the same quality experience as anyone else. The service and experience of this hotel did not meet the normal standards and expectations of the Hilton brand. I wish I had something positive to say but there wasn't much.
