Hampton Inn Nashville-I-24 Hickory Hollow

Immediately upon entering the building it smelled terrible like something had died I am not sensitive to smells but it even took my breath away and we are not the kind of people to complain about nothing went ahead and checked in figured maybe it was just the lobby went up the elevators to our floor the hallway smelled the same as did our room the room that we received overall was not the room that was advertised in the listing no even close it was old and dirty!!We left the property and happened to walk by the pool and it was not in the condition that it showed in the property listing I assume the pictures that were used for the listing were taken some time ago when this property was in much better condition!!So you’re aware this property is also in a very bad neighborhood BEWARE!!When trying to get a refund the manager straight lied to Hotels.com and said we stayed there and checked out our selves which we had proof that we had made another reservation through hotels.com and stayed there for the dates in question do stay at this hotel!!!!!!!Her are pictures of the pool I wish I could show you the small but that’s impossible just trust me it’s BAD!!!!

We had to have our TV switched out immediately because the screen was very dark. They did take care of that right away. The bathroom and hallway light kicked out for some reason. Had to reset that ourselves. The tub faucet was pulled away from the wall. The toilet had to be straightened and moved very easily. You had to sit and get up very slowly!

They offered a pretty good breakfast. Disappointing desk staff - the whole time i was checking in the two men were talking to each other in their native language. I felt very invisable and like they didn't want me there

The breakfast was okay. The location was great.
