Hampton Inn Greenville/Travelers Rest

Nice clean room!

Everything was great about this hotel except for one thing. The chair for sitting in the room was VERY uncomfortable. Probably need to rethink the amount of time that someone may be either reading or watching TV while sitting in it. Thanks!!

Clean, comfortable and a superior breakfast. It’s a great place. The lady who takes care of the breakfast buffet does an amazing job and is so sweet! She deserves a raise! It’s in a good location for visiting Furman University too! I would definitely stay here again.

The blinds in the room did not work and I had to rig them up to get some.natural.light. shower could have been cleaner. Hair and stained from use- needed to be scrubbed.

Everything was great and staff was very nice.

I’ve never been scolded so strongly by hotel staff over waffle batter as I was during our stay. We were in town for a few days for a family funeral. My four year old wanted plain waffles and the batter was coming out slowly. I politely asked if there was any more plain batter, which was apparently a mistake to ask, as I was gruffly told “no.” When my wife stepped into the breakfast area, I helped to tip the dispenser to get the last little bit of batter out, however was met with an even louder, more aggressive, “sir, you’re creating a mess. Put the batter dispenser down.” There was no mess being made. Hardly any batter was coming out. All around 1 star experience over something as simple as a waffle. The hotel was what you’d expect out of a Hampton inn. Overall the rest of the experience was fine, however, if you want to run the risk of you or your children getting a reaming like I’ve never gotten as an adult first thing in the morning, stay here.

The perfect location to jump on the Swamp Rabbit Trail and to explore Travelers Rest and Greenville. Also, a short walk to downtown Travelers Rest to restaurants and shops. Having a hot breakfast available to carb up before a ride was perfect. We'll definitely look to stay here again.
